Kylie Caldwell is an emerging Bundjalung artist, seeking to soak up the knowledge and wisdom from Bundjalung Jargoon (country). Kylie’s works explores contemporary and traditional Bundjalung culture and themes. Kylie utilizes various modes to deepen and expand her own cultural creative expression and knowledge.
Kylie is a multi-disciplinary artist, rediscovering and investigating ways to represent her cultural story through exploration of working with clay, weaving with fiber and painting with water colour.

Endurance, cultural adaptability and continuation are themes explored to promulgate Bundjalung ways of being, doing and seeing. By reviving, pursuing and adapting traditional cultural practices and customs that her ancestors have used over many thousands of years.
