Honouring Father Mountain & Mother Sea

We are pleased to announce Tanya Taylors upcoming solo exhibition, ‘Honouring Father Mountain & Mother Sea’ opening 4 April 3-5pm. Tanya’s creativity and storytelling is inspired by a hunter gatherer life as a Gringai, Worimi women. Her artworks feature bright and earthly tones in her acrylic on canvas collection. The exhibition features a large range of hand whittled wood including fighting, walking and digging sticks as taught by her father whilst sharing his knowledge and traditional stories. Please register via the humanitix QR code for catering purposes from the wonderful Songlines Bush Cafe or email events@yarrawarra.com.au
